Liliuokalani Center

About This Project

Liliuokalani Center – Honolulu, Oahu

Creative Partition Systems (CPS) was subcontracted by Kiewit Building Group to transform a former Honolulu fitness and social club into a center for youth development programs that will serve up to 300 Native Hawaiian children a year. Plans for the seven-story, 165,000-square-foot building includes visual arts production suites, music and dance studios, a theater, and a rooftop indoor basketball court.

CPS’ scope of work includes sintered rainscreen panel, EIFS, interior and exterior metal framing, interior and exterior drywall, acoustical wall and ceiling panels, FRP, and Kinetics spring hangers.

There are many high-end materials being used for the finishes of the project, such as Neolith sintered stone rainscreen panels, RPG wood wall and ceiling panels, Kinetics wall panels, and Armstrong metalwork ceiling clouds. CPS is taking great care to navigate material delivery and handling as the project is situated at a busy intersection with limited storage space at the project site.

CPS work scope is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2024.
