Liliokulanai Center for Youth Development

About This Project

Creative Partition Systems proudly partnered with Kiewit Building Group, Inc. to transform a former fitness club in Honolulu into a vibrant new Liliuokalani Center for Youth Development. Located at the intersection of Ward Avenue and King Street, the renovated facility spans seven stories and a rooftop gym, offering over 100,000 square feet of interior space. The center now features a rooftop indoor basketball court, dance and music studios, a theater, and both visual arts and film production suites.

CPS’s scope of work encompassed both interior and exterior metal framing, EIFS, gypsum board installation, acoustical wall and ceiling panels, ACT, and the installation of sintered stone rainscreen panels. This project showcased an array of high-end specialty materials, including:

– Neolith sintered stone rainscreen panels
– RPG Waveform and Expo acoustical panels
– Kinetics wall panels and isolator ceiling system
– 9 wood ceiling systems
– Armstrong Metalworks ceiling systems

Despite the complexity and demanding schedule, CPS delivered exceptional results—completing the project on time and to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This project stands as a testament to CPS’s ability to execute large-scale, high-performance builds with precision and professionalism. The project was completed in July 2025.
