Central Pacific Bank Kahului, Maui

About This Project

Creative Partition Systems (CPS) was contracted by Nordic PCL Construction as a trades partner to perform all drywall scope of work duties to build a new Central Pacific Bank in Kahului on the island of Maui.

CPS’ scope includes metal framing, fiberglass batt insulation, gypsum board hanging/taping, EIFS, AL-13 metal panel soffit, acoustical baffles, and acoustical ceiling grid and tile.

Some of the architectural standouts on the project are the various exterior special finishes, including three different color and texture selections for our EIFS install. CPS was tasked with installing Sto 1.0 fine, Sto linear, and Sto concrete finishes throughout the building. This is the first time that Sto linear and Sto concrete have been used in Hawaii. These finishes require a multi-step process and skilled training. It was critical to have constant discussions between our Sto manufacturer and our field team to achieve the desired plaster finishes. Ultimately, with the help of Sto and the persistence of our field crew, we were able to produce both finishes to match the Sto samples that were provided. Another highlight of the project is the AL-13 metal panel soffit system, which was installed at the underside of all canopy locations.

CPB is anticipated to be completed by end of September 2024.
